INFRASTRUCTURE
Infrastructure is a series of paintings exploring city skylines in section and horizon figure ground. These works are born of a love of the city, and an exploration into the meaning behind the city's relationship with the earth. Eveloved from the Earth Squares series, these pieces explore similar themes with more of an edge towards the industrial, but harkening to the earth with references to roots beneath buildings, lush colors, and washes of pigments that interact in ways only watercolor can.
