Drawn to Water Exhibit Opening

I am very excited to announce that my painting "Seascape III" is a four foot square saturated watercolor and was selected by jury for inclusion in this exhibition. This painting is the third in a series exploring this imagined landscape and born from a very quick demo painting I performed for students at the Boston Center for Adult Education. The demo was done to show how letting go of control in watercolor can result in risks and rewards of the unexpected. The inspiration piece Seascape I (also named "Lucy and the Sky") was selected for inclusion in Air Tran's in-flight magazine "Go" in 2011 on the table of contents. Click here to see the publication.
Drawn to Water is a group show of works by Fort Point Arts Community members inspired by water. The exhibition includes paintings, drawings, photography, prints, video, and sculpture in which water plays a central role.
