Purchasing and Framing Original Watercolors
I carry an ongoing inventory of work that is often changing. My pricing ensures that the paintings that I offer for sale often are sold at the first showing. Private viewings and price quotes of my current inventory can be arranged by contacting me directly. I do not make or sell reproductions of any kind. By purchasing original artwork you support me and my work and know that the piece on your wall is truly unique.
Framing
I can assist, and even choose a frame for you should you like me to. I can also quote you framing for basic black museum stype wood frames. For custom framing I work with A Street Frames in Boston. I recommend framing my work with white 3 ply mats and basic simple museum style frames but the final framing choice is a very personal one and part of the process of owning these one of a kind pieces.
Quality and Longetivy
Some of my most dedicated and repeated patrons have chosen to hang my work on the backing board that I stretched and painted it on without a frame or glass. This offers a very tactile and intimate experience but is only recommended if the work will be in an environment where it will not risk any exposure to water or direct sunlight. All of my paintings are painted with Windsor and Newton lightfast paints on Arches Cold Pressed watercolor paper. Using archival quality media, these paintings will not fade or change for centuries if properly framed and maintained.
I am extremely fortunate to have a very dedicated and expanding following. My artwork hangs in private collections across the US from Boston, to California, as well as cities in Europe, China and Australia.
