LARGE EARTH SQUARES​​

 

This series is an evolution of the Earth Square series into large format paintings (24"x24")  In this larger format the details of the landscapes evolve to a much more fine level.  Translating these studies to large paintings is very informative look into the scale of the gestures in watercolor and their effect on the atmosphere of a piece.
